Blip is a Brazilian platform (formerly Take Blip) that brings together the WhatsApp Business API, other messaging channels, AI agents, and human customer service representatives all in one place. It’s ideal for companies with a high volume of conversations, multiple customer service teams, and systems that need to be integrated. It does not publish pricing; contracts are based on a customized proposal.
A quick note before we begin. At Reinicia, we work with Blip: we’re a Blip Bronze partner (as mentioned on our Blip partner page) and we implement it in client projects, just like we do with other WhatsApp Business API platforms. That’s why this analysis draws exclusively on official sources from Blip and Meta, and devotes equal attention to both when it’s a good fit and when it isn’t.
Table of Contents: What Is Blip and Who Is It For?
What is Blip and where does it come from?
People who search for “Blip WhatsApp” usually have a suggestion or recommendation in mind and want to know if it’s right for their business. Let’s start with the basics.
Blip (also known as Blip AI, after its domain name) is a platform for managing customer conversations on messaging channels, with WhatsApp as its primary channel. The company behind it is Curupira S/A, based in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. According to its press room, it was founded in 1999 and today has more than 1,700 employees across three countries. It was previously known as Take Blip, a name that still appears in some of its documentation.
His proposal revolves around what he calls “Smart Contact”: a single point that brings together all channels, preserves each customer’s context, and combines people, automations, and AI agents. The main components are as follows:
- Builder: a visual editor for designing conversation flows without coding.
- Studio: for creating AI agents by selecting a language model, knowledge base, tools, and behavioral limits.
- Blip Desk: human support, with queues, routing rules, and tickets.
- Analytics: reports and dashboards for the bot and customer support.
In addition to WhatsApp, it works with Instagram, Messenger, Apple Messages for Business, SMS, email, Telegram, Microsoft Teams, Google RCS, and its own web-based chat platform, Blip Chat. It also includes modules for campaigns, brand monitoring, and in-chat payments.
If your main goal is to automate responses, take a look at the use cases for a WhatsApp Business chatbot first. Blip offers much more than just a chatbot, and that’s only worth it if you’re going to make the most of it.
To put the scale into perspective: Blip reports over 4,000 brands and 125 million new conversations per day (figures provided by the company itself), including brands such as Itaú, Bradesco, Nestlé, Stellantis, and Zara. In addition, it offers Blip Go, a product for small businesses that runs on the WhatsApp Business app. We’ll come back to this when discussing small and medium-sized enterprises.
What it means (and what it doesn’t mean) for Blip to be a Meta partner
To manage WhatsApp with multiple agents, automations, and integrations, you need the official API (if you’re starting from scratch, here’s what the WhatsApp Business API is and how it works). You almost always access this API through a partner, and Meta distinguishes between several types:
- Solution Partner: Offers a full range of services, is a Meta Business Partner, has a line of credit, and can bill you directly for API usage.
- Tech Provider and Tech Partner: They can offer the same services, but without a line of credit; you pay Meta using your own payment method.
Among its Solution Partners, Meta highlights the Select and Premier tiers and outlines a specific benefit: they can submit their client’s business verification on their behalf, resulting in a much faster response.
What about Blip? Meta features it as a Meta Business Partner in its Stellantis success story. Blip describes itself as a WhatsApp Business Solution Provider and mentions “Tier 1” partnerships with Meta, Google, and Apple, positioning itself as the only company in Latin America at that level. “Tier 1” is a term used by Blip, not Meta: if the exact tier is a factor in your decision, ask for it in writing.
What remains the same regardless of the partner is what Meta charges per message: it depends on the message category and the recipient’s country.
Integration Catalog
Blip connects to other systems in two ways: through its API and SDKs, which allow you to view and update your CRM or ERP in real time, and through a catalog of pre-built integrations. Its integrations page lists 30:
| Family | Examples listed by Blip |
|---|---|
| Channels | WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, Telegram, SMS, email, Microsoft Teams, Apple Messages for Business, Google RCS, Blip Chat |
| CRM and Marketing | Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, Pipedrive, Dynamics 365, Bitrix24, RD Station, ActiveCampaign |
| Customer Support and Management | Zendesk, Movidesk, Pipefy, Monday |
| Artificial Intelligence | GPT (OpenAI), IBM Watson, Microsoft LUIS |
| E-commerce | VTEX |
In addition, there’s the Blip Store, a marketplace for extensions created by Blip and companies in its partner network. Some are free, and others offer a free trial, with no visible price afterward.

That’s the detail worth checking: being listed in the catalog doesn’t indicate who maintains the integration. Zoho CRM is a good example. Blip lists it with a generic description, but the Zoho Marketplace extension is published by a third-party developer: version 1.0 from June 2023, paid (with a 10-day trial), and with no ratings as of October 15, 2026.
If Zoho CRM is the hub of your business operations, that difference matters: some platforms have their own native integration, and if not, the connection is custom-built via API. We’ll walk you through the options for integrating WhatsApp Business with Zoho CRM.
Why You Won’t Find Blip’s Pricing
If you’re looking for Blip’s pricing, the short answer is that it doesn’t publish pricing information for its platform. Its pricing page in Spanish (last updated in January 2024) lists five plans—Startup, Lite, Plus, Super, and Enterprise—without any prices, and directs you to the sales team. What it does say:
- The free account does not include WhatsApp. It allows for up to 2 agents and a limited number of conversations; for WhatsApp, you must upgrade to a paid plan.
- Each plan includes a monthly quota of “unique conversations.” Blip counts one per user, per day, per channel whenever a message is sent or received, including bots, notifications, and human support.
- The purchase process consists of four steps: assessment and demo, customized proposal, contract, and onboarding (set up by your team with support from Blip, or implemented by a certified partner).
So your bill will consist of at least three components: the platform (as proposed), Meta’s per-message fees (listed in euros in our article on WhatsApp Business API pricing), and implementation, regardless of who performs it.

The exception is Blip Go, which does list a price, but not in euros: 599 Mexican pesos per month on its Spanish-language website (with 100 campaign sends included) and 299 reais on the Portuguese-language version.
The type of company it’s suited for
Based on what Blip publishes (product, case studies, and sales approach), a clear picture emerges. We’ve organized this into four categories; the criteria are from Reinicia, not Blip.

Conversation Volume
The case studies featured by Blip (Stellantis, Banco Arbi, Energisa, and the YDUQS education group) measure results in terms of conversion rates, response times, or enrollments, and their plans are based on a conversation quota. This is a good fit if you experience spikes in volume (campaigns, peak seasons, enrollment periods), have multiple business lines on WhatsApp, or have a daily volume that no longer fits into a shared inbox. With just a few dozen conversations a day, a significant portion of what you’d pay would go unused.
Customer Service Team Size
Blip Desk is designed for structured teams: queues by topic, routing rules, tickets with history, and metrics for wait time, first response time, and average handling time. It’s a good fit when there are multiple agent groups and supervision. If you have two or three people handling customer service, something simpler will suffice, as we explain in “Customer Service with the WhatsApp Business API.”
Stack Maturity
Blip performs best when it has data to work with: CRM, ERP, e-commerce, helpdesk, and a well-maintained knowledge base for AI agents. Blip itself confirms this from the other side: it does not recommend Blip Go to anyone who needs to integrate an ERP or enterprise CRM, and instead directs them to the full platform. It’s a good fit if you already have systems to connect and someone to maintain integrations and workflows.
Budget and purchasing process
It’s purchased like enterprise software: assessment, proposal, contract, and onboarding, with more than one department involved. It’s a good fit if you can budget for it as a project. It’s not a good fit if you’re looking to sign up with a credit card, in euros, on a month-to-month basis.
What changes if you operate outside its home market?
Blip is a Brazilian company that is expanding abroad. On its corporate website, Madrid and Mexico City are listed as international expansion offices, and the company mentions having an active presence in Brazil, Mexico, and Spain. If you search for Blip in Spain, this is what you’ll find: an office in Madrid, but no website or pricing tailored to the Spanish market. It’s evident in specific details:
- The Spanish-language website is aimed at Latin America: business contact via a WhatsApp number in Mexico and prices (Blip Go’s) in pesos.
- Case studies, documentation, and the partner network are primarily Brazilian. Part of the product catalog is as well, such as payment integration options with PIX or PicPay.
- Regarding data protection, its privacy portal includes a GDPR compliance program and ISO 27001 certification, but it does not specify where the data is hosted.
None of this rules out Blip. It just means that in Spain, you have to ask about support, payment methods, and references—you can’t take them for granted.
When You’re Ready for Blip (and What to Do If You’re Not Yet)
You’re ready if you recognize yourself in most of these statements:
- You’re already using the WhatsApp Business API, and your volume is growing every month.
- You have multiple support queues, with monitoring and metrics.
- Your CRM, ERP, or e-commerce platform needs to integrate with the channel in real time.
- You want to combine workflows, AI agents, and human agents across multiple channels.
- You have the budget and someone with the time to lead a phased implementation.
If not yet, the sensible approach isn’t to give up on WhatsApp, but to start with a more streamlined platform and build on it. That’s what we explore in our profiles of Woztell and Spoki, two platforms with published plans for getting started on a smaller scale. When volume, the team, and integrations call for it, the leap is made based on data, not intuition.
When Blip Is Going Too Far
It probably is if you have just one phone number and one or two people answering calls, if there’s no CRM system to integrate yet, if no one is going to maintain workflows and knowledge bases, or if you need a fixed price in euros and want to sign up on a month-to-month basis.
In those cases, it’s more worthwhile to invest initially in streamlining the process and ensuring a smooth API implementation. We walk you through the process step by step in the WhatsApp Business API guide for small and medium-sized businesses.
What to Ask Before Signing
If Blip is a good fit, it’s a good idea to have these answers in writing before signing:
- Itemized pricing: plan, agents, per-call fee, overage charges, and modules.
- Who bills Meta: whether Blip passes the cost of messages on to you or you pay them directly.
- Contract terms and cancellation: duration, notice period, and what happens to your number. Blip notes in its help section that if access to your WhatsApp Business account is revoked, the number will stop working immediately.
- Numberportability: how your number is migrated if it’s already with another provider.
- Integrations: who develops and maintains each connector you’ll use, and how much it costs.
- Implementation and Support: Who performs the implementation, which vendors are used in Spain, and in what language and during what hours support is provided.
- Data: Where the data is hosted and the data processor agreement in accordance with the GDPR.
- Meta Level: what type of partner it is and what it entails to verify your business.

While you wait for the proposal, you can already estimate the Meta layer, regardless of which platform you choose:
How much will your WhatsApp Business API bill go up?
Since October 1, Meta charges for service replies. Enter the figures for a typical month and see right here how much your bill changes.
- €0.0028per service reply (United States), from the 1,001st reply of the month
- 1,000free replies a month per number
- €0.0265per marketing template (United States)
Meta's official price per marketing message (United States) is €0.0207; the rest is the usual platform and reseller margin. Service replies carry no margin.
Preguntas frecuentes
So, Blip—yes or no?
Blip is a robust platform for operations that already have volume, teams, and systems in place. Its strength lies in bringing together channels, automation, AI, and people with control; its cost stems from the fact that all of this requires a project, a contract, and implementation.
If this profile sounds like you, compare it to the list of questions below. If not, start small: WhatsApp is very effective long before you need a platform of this size. In either case, the conversation starts with your goals, not the tool.
