Step 1: Mass upload options

We will see these three options for importing our audience in Mailchimp:

1. Upload via CSV.
2. Upload by copy&paste from a file, in this case it can be an excel file.
3. Upload from the services we have integrated. This can be very useful if we have the drive or if we have a contact base.

For example, we are going to start doing it with excel and what I do is to select the contacts, their data and their information. It is important that it is only one row per contact. We copy all the information from excel and paste it into Mailchimp.

Step 2: Organization of the information in fields

Next, we will assign a name to each field in our list and click Continue to Organize.

In the next point we have to select that indeed these contacts have given us permission to be in our database by clicking on Choose status of these contacts: Subscribed.

3rd Step: Final review

After this step we will be presented with a summary screen with the information we want to import to verify that everything is correct:

Method used: copy&paste
Details of each column: Name of each field for the imported information
Status of the contacts: Subscribed

Click on Import and you are done.
