We work hard and sometimes <strong>achieve our goals<\/strong>, but not necessarily because we have monitored them closely throughout the year.   <br\/><br\/>A scorecard provides us with a global view of performance, which we often lose when we are immersed in day-to-day tasks.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"toma-decisiones-estrategicas\">Strategic decision making<\/h2>\n\n<p>Imagine you sell a product or service and, halfway through the year, you have already reached your revenue targets. This gives you the opportunity to adjust your strategy, perhaps increase margins or explore new <strong>sales opportunities<\/strong>.   <br\/><br\/>Having clarity on the status of your objectives makes strategic decision making much easier.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"comprender-mejor-objetivos\">Better understanding of objectives<\/h2>\n\n<p>A scorecard improves the <strong>understanding of objectives<\/strong>. In an organization, different people may have different interpretations of the objectives if they are not properly communicated.   <br\/><br\/>A scorecard helps to align the understanding of objectives, which is essential for joint success.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"aplicacion-estrategia\">Strategy implementation<\/h2>\n\n<p>The scorecard also improves <strong>strategy implementation<\/strong>. If the indicators reflect good performance, it means that the strategy is working.   <br\/><br\/>If the indicators show problems, it is time to rethink the strategy. This makes everyone in the organization understand the state of the strategy and be willing to make changes if necessary. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"coordinacion-eficiente\">Efficient coordination<\/h2>\n\n<p>Coordination is greatly facilitated when everyone shares a common understanding of objectives and strategy. By identifying problems more effectively, steps can be taken to address them.   <br\/><br\/>Imagine two people using different dashboards: both will be able to <strong>identify a problem<\/strong> at a specific point and coordinate to solve it.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"motivacion-equipo\">Team motivation<\/h2>\n\n<p>Finally, a scorecard can increase <strong>team motivation<\/strong>.
